    Verification is a process of evaluating software  at development phase and to decide whether the product of a given  application satisfies the specified requirements. Validation is the process of evaluating software at the end of the development process and to check whether it meets the customer requirements.

    Difference between Verification and Validation. The distinction between the two terms is largely to do with the role of specifications. Validation is the process of checking whether the specification captures the customer’s needs.

    Verification is the process of checking that a software achieves its goal without any bugs. It is the process to ensure whether the product that is developed is right or not.

    Validation is the process of checking whether the software product is up to the mark or in other words product has high-level requirements.
