মধ্যযুগের অন্যতম কবি ভারতচন্দ্র রায়গুণাকর। তিনি ১৭১২ খ্রিস্টাব্দে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের হাওড়া জেলার পান্ডুয়া গ্রামে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। তিনি আঠারো শতকের মঙ্গলকাব্য ধারার শ্রেষ্ঠ ও সর্বশেষ কবি ছিলেন।
