Let, initial average = x
So, total runs = 9x
And total runs scored in 10 innings = 9x + 100
So, new average = (9x + 100)/10
Since average increase by 8
ATQ,
x + 8 = (9x + 100)/10
10x + 80 = 9x + 100
x = 20
New average 20 + 8 = 28 (Ans)
