If we put x=3,
Then
L.H.S = 3/3+ 4/(3+1)
= 1+1
= 2
= R.H.S.
Other values do not equate the equation.
3x + 4x + 1 = 2
= >3x + 3 + 4xx(x + 1) = 2
= >7x + 3 = 2(x2 + x)
= > 2x2 - 7x + 2x - 3 = 0
= >2x2 - 5x - 3 = 0
= > 2x2 - 6x + x - 3 = 0 2x (x - 3) + 1 (x - 3) = 0 (x - 3) (2x + 1) = 0
= > (x - 3) = 0 [(2x + 1) = 0
