যার প্রথম পদ a = 1 এবং সাধারন অন্তর, d = 3 - 1 = 2
∴ এটি একটি সমান্তর ধারা ।
আমরা জানি,ধারাটির n পদের সমষ্টি,
s = (n/2){2a + (n−1)d}
= (n/2){2×1 + (n−1)×2}[মান বসিয়ে]
= (n/2)(2 + 2n−2)
= (n/2)×2n
= n²
