Structure of 3rd Conditional:
>If+ past perfect + would have/could have/might have+vpp
অর্থাৎ If clause-এ যদি Past Perfect হয় তাহলে Result Clause-এ অধিকাংশ ক্ষেত্রে would have + vpp বসে। এই শর্তটি পূরণ হওয়া অসম্ভব। কারণ অর্থটি হবে এরূপ : যদি আমি জানতাম তাহলে আসতাম; যেহেতু জানিনি, তাই আসিও নি।

> 3rd conditional-এর If কে বাদ দেয়া যায়; তবে শর্ত হলো তখন Past perfect-এর had টিকে subject-এর আগে বসাতে হবে। সেক্ষেত্রে Structure-টি হবে নিম্নরূপ :
Had + sub + vpp + sub + would have/could have/might have + vpp
Had I known in advance, I would have taken enough money.
