কোনাে ক্লাসে ৭০% শিক্ষার্থী ইংরেজিতে এবং ৮০% শিক্ষার্থী বাংলায় পাস করেছে। কিন্তু ১০ শিক্ষার্থী উভয় বিষয়ে ফেল করেছে। যদি উভয় বিষয়ে ৩৬০ জন শিক্ষার্থী পাস করে থাৎ তবে ঐ ক্লাসে কতজন শিক্ষার্থী পরীক্ষা দিয়েছে?

একজন ঠিকাদার একটি কাজ ৮০ দিনে সম্পন্ন করার চুক্তিতে ৬০ জন লােক নিযুক্ত করল । ২০ দিন পরে দেখা গেল যে, কাজের মাত্র ১/৫অংশ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে। নির্দিষ্ট সময়ে (৮০ দিনে)। ক জটি সম্পন্ন করতে হলে অতিরিক্ত কতজন লােক নিয়ােগ করতে হবে?

একজন মনি সোতের অনুকূলে যে সময়ে ৮ কি.মি যেতে পারে, প্রােতের প্রতিকূলে সে সময়ে ৫ কিমি যেতে পারে। যদি স্রোতের বেগ প্রতি ঘণ্টায় ১ কি.মি. বেশি হয় তবে সে প্রােতের প্রতিকূল অপেক্ষা অনুকূল দ্বিগুণ বেগে যেতে পারে। নৌকা ও স্রোতের বেগ কত?
