প্রশ্নে বলা হচ্ছে যে, A এবং B প্রাথমিকভাবে 18 : 7 অনুপাতে বিনিয়োগ করে একটি ব্যবসায় শুরু করলো। ব্যবসা শুরুর 4 মাস পর A আরো 2,000 টাকা এবং B আরো 7,000 টাকা বিনিয়োগ করলো। 1 বছর পর তাদের মধ্যে মুনাফা 2 : 1 অনুপাতে বিভক্ত হলে A এবং B এর প্রাথমিক বিনিয়োগের পরিমাণ কত ছিল?

Let, A initially invested Tk. 18x & B initially invested Tk. 7x.

Now, A's total investment is equivalent to = 

& B's total investment is equivalent to = (7x × 4) + (7x+7,000)8 Tk.

=28x + 56x+56,000 = (84x + 56,000) Tk.

Profit was distributed according to their investment ratio, so  216x + 1600084x + 56000 = 21

⇒  216x + 16,000 = 168x+1,12,000

⇒ 48x= 96,000

∴ x = 9600048 = 2,000

So, the initial investment of A was = 18 × 2,000 = 36,000 Tk.

& the initial investment of B was = 7 × 2,000 = 14,000 Tk.

∴ Their total investment at the beginning = 36,000 + 14,000 = 50,000 Tk.
