The name of Kobita's village is Sundarpur. It is a small village on the bank of the river Kalini. The beautiful river flows through the village. There are one high school, three primary schools and one vocational training centre in this village. Kobita and her friends take computer lessons at this centre. There is a theatre club and a small library too. Kobita can borrow books from the library. She borrows books on history, poetry and children's classics. The theatre club stages plays regularly. Last month Kobita enjoyed the Mohua drama dance performed by the theatre club. The village has a bazar on the river side. This is a very noisy and dirty place. Kobita never goes to the bazar. The village roads are also narrow and dirty. Although there is electricity in Sundarpur, the villagers experience frequent load shedding in summer.

John Keats was an English romantic poet. He was born in Moorgate, London, on 31 October 1795. He was the eldest son of his parents' four children. He lost his father at the age of nine and mother at the age of fifteen. In 1811, he became an apprentice to a surgeon at Edmonton. He continued his studies at the London hospital from 1815 to 1817 but he did not like medicine. Finally, he moved to literature. He wrote several sonnets. But it's a matter of sorrow that this young writer had to meet a premature death. He was attacked with tuberculosis and after a few days, he died. Before death as a last hope, in September 1820, he left England for Italy with his friend Joseph Severn and died there in Rome at the age of twenty six, and was buried in the old protestant cemetery. The first funeral of Keats was held in the Parish Church of Hampstead on July 16, 1864.

John Donne was born in 1573 in London. His father was a rich merchant. He had name and fame in his circle. But he died in 1576. Donne was at first educated as a Catholic. He entered Oxford in 1584 and left it in 1587. Then he studied at Cambridge for three years. He returned to London in 1591. He then entered Lincoln's Inn to study Law in 1592. When Donne came of age, he had a considerable fortune. Donne travelled Italy, Spain and other parts of the continent between 1594 and 1597. He joined Essex Expedition to Cabiz in 1590. During this time, he wrote several poems. His lyrical poetry was mainly the outcome of these years. In 1609, he began to compose his great prose work 'Pseudo Martyr'. It was printed in 1610. In 1611, he wrote a satirical prose piece.
