Lowachara National Park is a major national park. It is located at Kamalganj Upazila, Maulvi Bazar district. Its area is 1250 hectares. It is rich in flora and fauna. Plants of different types are found in the park. Different kinds of beasts like monkeys, gibbons, bears, tigers. leopards, fishing cats, wild pigs, deer, squirrels etc are found here. But some species like gibbons are in danger today.
