কৈশিক ক্রিয়া (Capillary action)
কৈশিক নল এর মধ্য দিয়ে তরলের উঠা বা নামা হল কৈশিক ক্রিয়া। কৌশিকী এর মাধ্যমে তরলের(যেমন পানি,তৈল ইত্যাদি) একটি অনুর উপর উঠে আসার সময় সংসক্তি বলের কারণে তার সাথে লেগে থাকা অন্য অনুটিয় উপরেও উঠে আসে। এ প্রক্রিয়ায় কুপি হতে সলিতায় তেল আসে।
