সাধার‌ণত Vowel ( a, e, I, o,u) - এর পূর্বে article 'An' বসে । কিন্তু Vowel 'U' - এর উচ্চারণ যদি 'ইউ' এবং 'O' - এর উচ্চারণ যদি 'ওয়া' - এর মতো হয় তাহলে 'An' - এর পরিবর্তে 'A' বসে। তাই One (ওয়ান) - এর পূর্বে 'a' বসবে।
