Solve the following mathematics problems:

A alone can do a piece of work in 30 days, while B alone can do it in 15 days and C alone can do it in 10 days. If in every second day B and in every third day C help A in doing the work, how many days still be required to complete the whole work? (work and time)

Answer :

LCM of 2 and 3 is 6

Work done in first 6 days = (630+315+210)=6+6+630=1830=415

Remaining work = (1-35)=(5-35)=25

Next 3 days work done by them= (330+115+110)=3+2+330=830=415

Remaining work after 9 days = (25-415)=(6-415)=215

In 10th days, B will help A, thus work done by them after 9 days= (130+115)=1+230=330=110

Remaining work= (215-110)=(4-330)=130

In 11th days, A alone can do 13 part of work which is the amount of remaining work.

Total 11 days will be required to complete the whole work. ans.
