Solve the following problems:

A square and an equilateral triangle have equal perimeters. If the diagonal of the square is 12√2 cm, then what is the area of the triangle?

Answer :

According to the Question,

a2 = 122

⇒ a = 12 cm

So, Perimeter of Square = (4 × 12 ) = 48 cm

So, Each sides of Triangle = 13 of 48 = 16 cm

Area of Triangle = 12 × 16 × 8√3 = 643 (Ans)
