প্রবাদ বাক্যের ক্ষেত্রে আক্ষরিক বা গ্রামারটিক্যাল অনুবাদের চেয়ে নির্দিষ্ট শব্দচয়ন সবচেয়ে বেশি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
