Ibn sina (980-1037) was a Persin polymath who is regarded as one of the most significant physicians, astronomers, thinkers and writers of the 'Islamic Golden Age'. He has been described as the father of early modern medicine. He treated many patients without asking for payment. He used to work very hard. As a result, at some stages, he developed a severe colic, for which there was no curative treatment at that time. His friends advised him to slow down and take life moderately.
