Last Friday, I visited the National Martyrs' Memorial at Savar with my classmates and our class teäclier. We went there by our school bus. We started our journey at 9 am and reached the place after one hour. The place is very beautiful and peaceful.. We saw the tall monuments which remind us of the brave martyrs of our Liberation War in 1971. We stood silently for some time to show respect to the martyrs. Our teacher told us many stories about the Liberation War. We also took photographs in front of the Memorial. After that, we ate our luncli and spent some time walking in the garden around the monument. The visit was very enjoyable and educative. I will never forget this visit to the National Martyrs' Memorial.
