WLAN: A wireless LAN (WLAN) is a wireless computer network that links two or more devices using wireless communication to form a local area network (LAN)

WCAN: The wireless controller area network (WCAN) is a new approach of using CAN message-based protocol in wireless network.

WMAN: A wireless metropolitan area network (WMAN) is a form of wireless networking that has an intended coverage area — a range — of approximately the size of a city.
