যে গোষ্ঠীর সদস্যগণ একই মনোভাব ও স্বার্থের ভিত্তিতে গড়ে ওঠে এবং স্বার্থের ভিত্তিতেই তারা পরস্পরের সাথে আবদ্ধ হয় তাকে চাপসৃষ্টিকারী গোষ্ঠী বলে।

1. Institutional interest groups (army and business associations).
2. Non - associational interest groups. 3. Associational interest groups.
4. Anomic interest groups (terrorist organization, criminal gang).
