With due reverence, I, as an employee of Sonali Bank Ltd. want to attract your attention to the fact that there is no any branch of any bank in the Shibalaya upazila to help the poor farmers specially to provide any pecuniary assistance as agriculture loans. About five lakh farmers are living there. Their life's and livelihood depends badly on agriculture. But to flourish farming, they usually go the village money lenders who charge high cost of funding and sometimes they grab their lands making them helpless. So opening a new specialized branch of Sonali Bank Ltd. in this region is very essential.
Therefore, I pray and hope that considering the above mentioned circumstances, please take necessary initiatives and permit opening a new specialized branch of our renowned bank and oblige us thereby.
