$V o l u m e o f e a c h b l o c k = (1 \times 1 \times 2) c u b i c i n c h e s .$

$∴ M a x i m u m n u m b e r s o f b l o c k t h a t c a n b e p a c k e d i n t o t h e r e c \tan g u l a r b o x i s = \frac{7 \times 4 \times 3}{1 \times 1 \times 2} = 42 .$

একজন ঠিকাদার একটি কাজ ৮০ দিনে সম্পন্ন করার চুক্তিতে ৬০ জন লােক নিযুক্ত করল । ২০ দিন পরে দেখা গেল যে, কাজের মাত্র ১/৫অংশ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে। নির্দিষ্ট সময়ে (৮০ দিনে)। ক জটি সম্পন্ন করতে হলে অতিরিক্ত কতজন লােক নিয়ােগ করতে হবে?
