Introduction

Bangladesh is a land of six beautiful seasons. These are: summer, rainy season, autumn, late autumn, winter, and spring. Every season appears with its own beauty, gifts, and changes in nature. Among them, the season I like most is spring. Spring is often called the queen of all seasons because of its freshness, natural beauty, and pleasant weather. It usually comes in Falgun and Chaitra, the last two months of the Bengali calendar year, and stays for about two months.

Nature in Spring

Spring comes after the cold winter. During spring, the sun shines brightly but mildly. The sky remains clear and blue. A gentle breeze blows all day long, making the atmosphere fresh and comfortable. New leaves begin to grow on trees. Different kinds of colorful flowers bloom everywhere. Birds sing sweet songs, and butterflies dance from flower to flower. Nature looks like a beautiful painting during this time.

Cultural and Seasonal Festivals

Spring is also a season of festivals. The first day of spring, known as Pohela Falgun, is celebrated all over the country, especially by young people. They wear colorful dresses and join in cultural programs. Another important event during spring is International Mother Language Day (21st February), which reminds us of the sacrifice of our language martyrs. Many schools and colleges arrange debates, art competitions, poetry recitations, and fairs during this season.

Why I Like Spring Most

There are many reasons why I like spring more than any other season:

It helps me feel energetic, peaceful, and creative.

Effect on Health and Mind

Spring has a very good effect on both body and mind. The fresh air keeps our health good. The colorful nature refreshes our mood and removes stress. Students can concentrate better in spring because the peaceful environment keeps the mind calm. People of all ages enjoy the season equally.
