Environment pollution
Environment pollution has become one of the most dangerous threats to human existence in the present world. Our environment consists of air, water, soil, and all living beings. But today, almost every element of the environment is being polluted by human activities. Industrial smoke, vehicle emissions, and the burning of fossil fuels pollute the air. The use of pesticides, plastic waste, and the dumping of industrial and household garbage pollute water and soil. Deforestation and urbanization are destroying the balance of nature. As a result, global warming, acid rain, and climate change are increasing rapidly. The effects of environmental pollution are devastating. It causes various diseases such as asthma, cancer, and skin problems. Many animals and plants are facing extinction. The rise in sea level due to global warming threatens coastal areas and small islands. To solve this problem, both the government and the people must work together. Strict laws should be enforced to control industrial waste and air pollution. Tree plantation programs must be expanded, and the use of eco-friendly materials should be encouraged. Public awareness is the most important factor because only a conscious nation can protect its environment. A clean environment is essential for healthy living and sustainable development.

Unemployment is a burning problem in almost every developing country, especially in Bangladesh. It means the state of being without any job though a person is willing and able to work. Every year, thousands of educated youths come out of schools, colleges, and universities, but suitable jobs are not available for all of them. The main causes of unemployment are overpopulation, lack of industrial development, shortage of capital, and an education system that does not meet the needs of the job market. Moreover, many people still depend only on government jobs and hesitate to take up business or technical professions. The effects of unemployment are very harmful. It creates poverty, frustration, and mental depression among the youth. Many unemployed people become involved in social crimes, drug addiction, and even terrorism. The overall progress of the country is hampered. To remove this problem, the government should promote industrialization and encourage self-employment through small and medium enterprises. Technical and vocational education should be made compulsory to create skilled manpower. If proper steps are taken, unemployment can be reduced, and our young generation can become the real strength of the nation.
