Oronno : Hey Bhaiya, what are you doing? Can I ask you something? (আরে ভাইয়া, কী করছো তুমি? আমি কি তোমাকে কিছু জিজ্ঞাসা করতে পারি?)
Elder Brother: Of course! What is it? (অবশ্যই! কী সেটা?)
Oronno : I have heard people talking about '36 July'. What does '36 July' mean? (আমি '৩৬ জুলাই' নিয়ে মানুষকে কথা বলতে শুনেছি। '৩৬ জুলাই' মানে কী?)
Elder Brother: Oh, '36 July' is a name given to 5 August 2024 during the quota reform movement in our country. (আমাদের দেশের কোটা সংস্কার আন্দোলনের সময় ৫ আগস্ট ২০২৪ কে '৩৬ জুলাই' নামকরণ করা হয়েছিল।)
Oronno : Oh, you mean the July Revolution? But why do they call it '36 July'? That's so unusual! (ওহ, তুমি জুলাই বিপ্লবের কথা বলছো? কিন্তু এটিকে '৩৬ জুলাই' বলা হয় কেন? এটি খুবই অদ্ভুত!)
Elder Brother: The protesters were so furious about the violence in July that they refused to move on from it. They kept counting July days into August to emphasize their demands. (প্রতিবাদকারীরা জুলাই মাসের সহিংসতায় এতটাই ক্ষুদ্ধ ছিল যে তারা এটি থেকে সরে আসতে অস্বীকৃতি জানায়। তাদের দাবি জোরদার করতে তারা আগস্ট চলাকালীন জুলাইয়ের দিনগুলো গুণতে থাকে।)

Tonni: I'm worried about the dengue outbreak across the country, especially in Dhaka. (আমি সারা দেশে, বিশেষ করে ঢাকায় ডেঙ্গুর প্রাদুর্ভাব নিয়ে চিন্তিত।)
Rima: Indeed. It's alarming. By the way, what are the symptoms of Dengue? (সত্যিই। এটি ভীতিকর। যাই হোক, ডেঙ্গুর লক্ষণগুলো কী কী?)
Tonni: Dengue is dangerous. The symptoms include high fever, headache, pain behind the eyes, muscle pain, and even bleeding. (ডেঙ্গু খুব মারাত্মক। লক্ষণগুলোর মধ্যে তীব্র জ্বর, মাথাব্যথা, চোখের পিছনে ব্যথা, মাংসপেশীতে ব্যথা, এবং এমনকি রক্তক্ষরণও হতে পারে।)
Rima: Oh my God! It's horrible. (হায়! এটি ভয়াবহ।)
Tonni: It is. There's no specific cure. Doctors suggest rest, drinking plenty of liquids, and paracetamol. (হ্যাঁ, তাই। এর কোনো নির্দিষ্ট প্রতিকার নেই। ডাক্তাররা বিশ্রাম নেওয়া, পর্যাপ্ত তরল পান করা, এবং প্যারাসিটামল সেবনের পরামর্শ দেন।)

Fahad: I'm scared. I saw an accident yesterday. I can't forget it. (আমি ভয় পাচ্ছি। আমি গতকাল একটি দুর্ঘটনা দেখেছি। আমি এটি ভুলতে পারছি না।)
Kamrul: When and where did it happen? Who was the victim? (কবে এবং কোথায় এটি ঘটেছিল? কে এর শিকার হয়েছিল?)
Fahad I saw this accident yesterday morning on my way to school. A boy of 10 years was crossing the Hospital Road near my school. He fell victim to this accident. (গতকাল সকালে স্কুলে যাওয়ার পথে আমি এটি দেখেছিলাম। ১০ বছরের একটি ছেলে আমার স্কুলের সামনের হাসপাতাল সড়ক পার হচ্ছিল। সে এই দুর্ঘটনার শিকার হয়।)
Kamrul: How did it occur? What did you do then? (এটি কীভাবে ঘটেছিল? তখন তুমি কী করেছিলে?)
Fahad A bus knocked him down from the back. We gathered there and took him to hospital. But at last the doctor declared him dead. (একটি বাস পিছন থেকে তাকে ধাক্কা দেয়। আমরা সেখানে জড়ো হয়ে তাকে হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যাই। কিন্তু অবশেষে ডাক্তার তাকে মৃত ঘোষণা করে।)
Kamrul: What a pathetic condition! (কী করুণ অবস্থা!)
Fahad: Indeed, he was the only son of his parents. Anyway, Kamrul, I've to go to bed now. Good night. (সত্যিই, সে তার মা-বাবার একমাত্র ছেলে ছিল। যাই হোক, কামরুল, আমাকে এখন ঘুমাতে যেতে হবে। শুভ রাত্রি।)

Zabin: I'm fine too. I'm facing some difficulties though. (আমিও ভালো। যদিও কিছু সমস্যার সম্মুখীন হচ্ছি।)
Romin: I see. What's wrong? (আচ্ছা। কী সমস্যা?)
Zabin: Well, I haven't done well in several of my English exams. I don't know what to do. This is very frustrating. (আসলে, বেশ কিছু ইংরেজি পরীক্ষায় আমি ভালো করতে পারিনি। আমি জানি না কী করব। এটা খুব হতাশাজনক।)
Romin: Hm, but there are ways to improve your English. (হুম, তবে ইংরেজিতে ভালো করার উপায় আছে।)

Romin: You can read English newspapers and story books to improve your reading and writing. This habit will increase your vocabulary and knowledge about sentence structures. Romin: Well, you can watch good English movies, listen to English talks on different issues on radio and online. Most importantly, you have to practise a lot to gain fluency in speaking. Try to speak English in and outside the classroom with friends and family. Don't be shy or scared of making mistakes. You'll learn to speak correctly gradually. Amin Well, it seems I'm not good at English and I don't like it either. I haven't done well in several of my English exams. (আসলে, আমার মনে হয় আমি ইংরেজিতে ভালো না এবং আমার এটি ভালোও লাগে না। ইংরেজির বেশ কিছু পরীক্ষায় আমি ভালো করতে পারিনি।)
