Swine Virus and WHO alert
 

• Swine flue is naturally a virus which is found among the pigs but now it is spreading among the human beings. This disease is named H1N1.
   
• This virus was first identified in 1976 in the U.S.A. But at that time it was not so severe.
   
• In April of 2009 this virus has been identified in Mexico and then it is spreading very fast.
   
• When swine virus is first caught by a person, there are simple symptoms such as fever, catching cold, cough etc.
   
• But when it takes a serious turn there can be pneumonia and paralyses of one are several organs. Even a person can die.
   
• There is no medicine for this till now.
   
• Only prevention can save us WHO has announced six levels of alert and those are:
  
  Level 1: There is no new news of finding animal virus in human body.
  Level 2: Animal virus is affecting people.
  Level 3: Some people are affected but it is not spreading in regional context.
  Level 4: This is spreading from one person to another in the region.
  Level 5: This is spreading from person to person in two different countries.
  Level 6: It is spreading like epidemic.
