A Good Teacher

A teacher, specially a good or an ideal teacher, is one of the most important personalities of a country. He/She is a window opener for his students. A good teacher opens up a new vista of knowledge for them. A good teacher is a friend, philosopher and a guide to the students. He does everything for the students. He nurses the young minds as carefully as the gardener handles the saplings. He/She is not only a student builder but also a nation builder. He teaches his students the methods of good living because a good teacher knows the modern method of teaching. Aristotle is a glaring example of a good teacher. Much of the present restlessness among the students in our country is due to the fact that a teacher is not teaching the value of self-control. But it is the first lesson of an ideal teacher to teach them. So, a good teacher is undoubtedly the most vital factor for a good nation.
