A Railway Station
A railway station is a common place where trains stop and take passengers for the next destination. It is a very busy and crowded place. In a regular sized railway station, usually there are one or two buildings. In those buildings, there are the station master's office, ticket counter, booking office for goods, and waiting rooms for the male and female passengers. There are also tea stalls along with various other stalls where the passengers can buy food stuff and other necessary articles. There is a point's man who maintains the signals. He moves along the railway platform with red and green flags in his hand. There are hawkers and coolies for whom the station looks lively. When a train arrives, the station becomes busy and noisy. Many passengers get into the train and many get down from it. When trains leave the station, it becomes calm and quiet momentarily. Sometimes, it looks like a desolate place, especially in the midnight. However, when a train arrives, the station gets rejuvenated with life.
