The Padma Multipurpose Bridge is a big project in Bangladesh. The bridge was inaugurated on June 25, 2022. This event was very important in Bangladesh's history. The Padma Bridge is 6.15 kilometers long. It is made of steel and has two levels. The top level has a four-lane road, and the bottom has a railway track. The bridge connects 21 districts of southern Bangladesh to Dhaka and the rest of the country. Before the bridge, people waited for hours at ferry ghats to cross the Padma River. Now, buses, cars, and trucks can cross the river quickly and easily. The bridge makes travel faster and more comfortable. The Padma Bridge was built using money from our own fund.
