Write a short note on " Third Terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport"

The Third Terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka is a major step forward for Bangladesh's aviation sector. Officially soft-opened in October 2023, this modern terminal is designed to handle 12 million passengers annually, significantly boosting the airport's total capacity. Built with support from JICA and constructed by international companies, the terminal includes state-of- the-art facilities such as e-gates, 26 boarding bridges, automated check-in, and a large cargo complex. It also features improved connectivity, parking, and apron space for 37 aircraft. Once fully operational by mid-2025, it will greatly enhance passenger experience, trade, and tourism in Bangladesh.
