Introduction : The cow is a domestic animal. It is found everywhere in the world.

Description : The cow has four legs, two eyes, two ears, two horns, a long tail and a long head. Its body is covered with short fur. It has teeth only on the lower jaw. Its hoofs are divided in the middle.

Colour and size : There are cows of many sizes and colours. Some are large and some are small in sizes. The colours of some cows are black, some are white, some are red and some are of mixed colour.

Food : The cow lives on grass. It also eats straw, bran, oilcake, etc.

Nature : The cow is a very gentle animal. It gives birth to one calf at a time. It eats all day long and chews the end at night.

Usefulness : The cow is a very useful animal. It gives us milk. Cowdung is a good manure. Shoes, bags, belts, etc. are made from its skin. Ghee, butter, curd and sweet. are made from milk. Button and comb are made from its bones and horns. The ox draws the curt and the plough.

Conclusion : The cow is very useful to us. It is our wealth. We should take care of it.

Introduction : Rice is our main food. We get it from paddy. Half of the people of the world eat regularly.
Kinds : There are mainly four kinds of rice in our country. They are Aus, Aman, Boro and Irri.
Where grown : Rice grows well in hot climate. It grows in Bangladesh, India, China, Japan, Burma, etc. In Bangladesh it grows almost everywhere.
How grow : At first the farmers plough and manure the land well. Then the seeds are sown. Plants grow in a few days. After three months, paddy ripens. It becomes golden coloured. Then farmers reap it.
Usefulness : Rice is our main food crop. We get chira, muri, khai and cakes from rice.
Conclusion : We live on rice. So we should try to grow more rice.

Introduction : Jute is called the golden fibre of Bangladesh. Jute grows mainly in Bangladesh. It is 10 to 15 feet high. Its leaves grown on its stem.

How grown : Jute grows well in hot and wet climate. Farmers plough the land in March and April. Then seeds are sown. After four months, farmers cut down the plants and put under water in bundle. After some days they get rotten. Then they are washed and dried in the sun.

Usefulness : Jute is a very useful thing. Gunny bags, ropes, papers, etc. are made of it. Its stalks are used for fencing. Its leaves are used as vegetables.

Conclusion : Jute is the cash crop of our country. But the farmers do not get the fair price of jute. The Government should take steps to ensure it.

Introduction : The name of our school is Banglabazar School. It is in Dhaka city. It is an ideal school.

Description : Our school is a brick built building. It faces south. We have a playground. We play there. There are twenty rooms in it. We have Headmaster's room and teacher's room.

Students and teachers : There are two hundred students in our school. We have ten teachers. Our Headmaster is an M.A. All the teachers teach us well. We also obey and respect them.

Duration : Our school sits at 8 o'clock and breaks up at 11:30 in the morning

Conclusion : We love our school very much. The results of our school are good. We are proud of it.

Introduction : The name of our village is Panjia. It is in the district of Jessore. It is a big village.

Location : The village stands on Satnal. It is two miles long and one mile wide.

Population : About five thousand people live in this village. Most of them are Muslims, only a few Hindus families live here. Some of them - are businessmen, teachers and the rest are farmers.

Importance : There is a High school, two Govt. Primary schools, a post office, a Madrasha, a Bank and a Hospital in it. There is also a big market in its middle. It sits twice a week. We live peacefully there.

Crops and fruits : Our village grows a lot of rice, jute and vegetables. There are also many fruit gardens in it.

Conclusion : Our village is an ideal village. We are proud of our village.

Introduction: Our school was closed, for the summer vacation. I along with some of my friends decided to go to my village home by boat.

Starting : On the fixed day we went to the river ghat. We hired a boat. The weather was fine. We started our journey at 7 a.m.

Sights on the way: The river was clam and quiet. The boat began to play on the river. We saw many boats. They had coloured and white sails. They looked beautiful, We saw many boys and girls on the river ghats. Some of them were swimming. At 10 a.m. we came to a bazar. We stopped there and bought 'Hilsha' and rice. Our friend Asif cooked a nice meal. We ate it with satisfaction. We came back at 8 p.m.

Conclusion : We enjoyed the journey very much.
