নিউক্লিয়ার আবরণীর দুটো স্তরের মধ্যবর্তী তরল পদার্থপূর্ণ স্থানকে পেরিনিউক্লিয়ার স্থান (Perinuclear space) বলে । এই স্থানটি প্রায় ১০-১৫ nm চওড়া । নিউক্লিয়ার আবরণীর বহি : স্তর নানা স্থানে এন্ডোপ্লাজমিক জালিকার সাথে যুক্ত থাকে । নিউক্লিয়ার পর্দার কয়েকটি স্থানে ছিদ্র থাকে । এই সব ছিদ্রকে নিউক্লিয় ছিদ্র (nuclear pore) বলে যাদের ব্যাস প্রায় ৪০০-৭০০nm । রাসায়নিক উপাদান হিসেবে নিউক্লিয় আবরণীতে প্রােটিন , ফসফোলিপিড , DNA ও RNA থাকে । এছাড়া নিউক্লিয়ার পর্দায় বিভিন্ন ধরনের এনজাইম থাকে ।
