<p>We have to form a border around the room of 24 * 14. </p> <p>Also, since room is 24 feet wide in length, we can place 24 tiles on both the sides. </p> <p>that makes it 48.</p> <p>we are left with width which is 14 feet. </p> <p>But out of that we have already placed tiles in 2 feet on both the side while filling up the place for length. </p> <p>So what we are left with is = 14 + 14 - 2 - 2 = 24</p> <p>and 24 + 48 = 72</p> <p>ans: 72</p>
