<p>Let the number of students enrolled at PQR school be x</p> <p>x/12 students were absent</p> <p>So, 11x/12 students were present</p> <p>number of students went on a field trip = 11x/12 * 1/5 = 11x/60</p> <p>Number of students who were absent or went on a field trip = x/12 + 11x/60 = 16x/60 = 4x/15</p> <p>Number of students staying in the school = x - 4x/15 = 11x/15</p> <p>ATQ,</p> <p>11x/15 = 704</p> <p>∴x = 960</p> <p>ans: 960</p>
