আনাতোলিয়া শব্দটি বাংলাভাষাও ব্যবহৃত হয়। তবে তুর্কিরা একে আনাদোল বা আনাদোলো ( তুর্কি : Anadolu ) বলে। তুরস্কের বেশিরভাগ অংশ এই উপদ্বীপেই গঠিত। আনাতোলিয়াকে ইংরেজিতে এশিয়া মাইনর (Asia minor) নামেও ডাকা হয়।
