Let the amount lent at 5% be M.
Now, M x 1 x 5/100 + (4000 - M) x 1 x 4/100 = 180
or, 5M + 4(4000 - M) = 180 x 100 [multiply both sides by 100]
or, 5M + 16000 - 4M = 18000
or, M = 18000 - 16000 = 2000 TK
