ধরি, L এবং T যথাক্রমে Last month এবং This month  এর চালের পরিমাণ
So, cost last month  = 16L; this month  = 20T  
যেহেতু cost একই রাখা হয়েছে,এই দুটি same 
so, 16L = 20T or, T = .8L  
অথাৎ This month  তারা rice consume করবে, 8 times of last month or 80% 
So,reduction in consumption  = (100 - 80)% = 20%

Now, Cost price of 1000gram=tk20

Last month, cost price of 1000gram=tk16

Increased (20-16)=4taka/1000gram

Now,

By Tk20 they get 1000gram

By tk4 they get =(1000*4)/20=200gram

They should reduce their consumption =(200*100)/1000=20%
