18< 4x+10 < 34
If x=2 then 4x+10=18 ≯18
If x=3 then 4x+10=22 which 18<22<34
If x=4 then 4x+10=26 which 18<26<34
If x=5 then 4x+10=30 which 18<30<34
But here 22<26<30
So 3 is the least value.
