There is error in the question or the options. If the options are right then the last line of the question will be How much more time will it take to reach the last pole?
If the pole 1 is the start point of car then,car is
At 0 zero seconds = in pole 1
At 24th seconds = in pole 12
So it has covered distance of 11 poles in 24 seconds.
So, time taken to cover distance between 2 poles is 2.18 seconds (24/11)
And hence the car would reach 23th pole in 48 seconds (2.18*22)
