One number is = x; other = y
xy = P —– (i)
(x + 2) (y + 2) = xy + 2y + 2x + y
xy + 2 (x + y) + 4 = xy + 4 + 2(x + y)
= P + 4 + 2(x + y)
The new result is (P + 4) greater.
