শুধু ক্রিকেট খেলে = ( 80 এর 35/100) বা 28 জন
শুধু টেবিল টেনিস খেলে = ( 80 এর 45/100) বা 36 জন
দুটোই খেলে { 80 - ( 28 + 36) } জন = 16 জন
সুতরাং, মোট ক্রিকেট খেলে = ( 28 + 16) = 44 জন।
