a - b = ✓{(a - b)² - 4ab}
= ✓(2² - 4.1)
= ✓(4 - 4)
= 0
∴a - b = 0
= > a = b ....... (i)
= > a + b = 2........... (ii)
= > ab = 1......... (iii)
(i) এবং (ii) থেকে পাই, a + a = 2
= > 2a = 2
= > a = 1
a এর মান (iii) নং সমীকরণে বসাই 1. b = 1
= > b = 1
∴a = 1, b = 1
