৭ই মার্চের ভাষণ ও বাংলাদেশের স্বাধীনতা

১৯৭১ সালের ৭ই মার্চ, বাংলাদেশের ইতিহাসে সবচেয়ে স্মরণীয় ও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দিন। মূলত সেদিনই স্বাধীন দেশ হিসেবে বাংলাদেশের অভ্যুদয় ঘটে। বাঙালির অবিসংবাদিত নেতা বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান ১০ লক্ষাধিক লোকের সমাবেশে পাকিস্তানি শাসকের হুমকির মুখেও রেসকোর্স ময়দানে ২৩ বছরের বঞ্চিত, অবহেলিত ও শোষিত বাঙালিকে স্বাধীনতার মন্ত্রে উজ্জীবিত করেন। তাঁর ১৮ মিনিটের অসামান্য ভাষণে রাজনৈতিক প্রজ্ঞা ও দূরদৃষ্টির পরিচয় মেলে। সেই দিন বাংলাদেশের সাড়ে সাত কোটি মানুষ নতুন জীবনের মন্ত্রে দীক্ষিত হয়। মুক্তিকামী বাঙালির স্বাধীনতা আন্দোলনের কর্মপন্থা-কৌশল তুলে ধরেন, দেন সঠিক দিকনির্দেশনা। 'আর যদি একটা গুলি চলে, আর যদি আমার লোককে হত্যা করা হয়, তোমাদের উপর আমার অনুরোধ রইল- প্রত্যেক ঘরে ঘরে দুর্গ গড়ে তোল। তোমাদের যা কিছু আছে তাই নিয়ে শত্রুর মোকাবিলা করতে হবে। প্রায় দুইশ বছর ব্রিটিশ শাসন ও তেইশ বছরের পাকিস্তানি শোষণের শিকার বাঙালি জাতি। ১৯৪৭ এর দেশভাগের পর থেকেই পাকিস্তানি শাসকগোষ্ঠী পূর্ববাংলায় আধিপত্যে বিস্তার করতে নতুন নতুন ষড়যন্ত্রের জাল বিস্তার করতে থাকে। ১৯৪৮ থেকে ১৯৭১ সাল পর্যন্ত স্বাধীনতা অর্জনের লক্ষ্যে নিরলস সংগ্রাম-আন্দোলন করতে থাকেন বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান। ১৯৪৮ থেকে শুরু করে ১৯৫২ এর ভাষা আন্দোলন, ১৯৬৬ এর ছয় দফা, উনসত্তরের গণঅভ্যুত্থান, সত্তরের সাধারণ নির্বাচনে জয়লাভ, সর্বোপরি, একাত্তরের মুক্তিযুদ্ধ- এই দীর্ঘ আন্দোলন-সংগ্রামের মাধ্যমে তিনি স্বাধীন সার্বভৌম বাংলাদেশের অভ্যুদয়কে অবশ্যম্ভাবী করে তোলেন ।

Fisheries Resources of Bangladesh

Fisheries is the occupation or industry of catching fish or tapping other marine or freshwater resources. One of the major sectors of Bangladesh agriculture is represented by the fisheries sector. Being a deltaic land with numerous rivers and inland haors and beels (lakes and lowland areas of considerable size), and also ponds that are dug in populated areas for the purpose of bathing, washing and often as a source of drinking water, fish became an integral part of the food culture. In the past hardly any need was felt for fisheries education and research, because population was low and fish in plenty. Fisheries now play a major role in nutrition, employment and foreign exchange earning. Fish alone supply about 60% of animal protein and about 1.4 million people are directly employed by the fisheries sector. About another 11 million people indirectly earn their livelihood out of activities related to fisheries. The growth rate of fish production during the last seven years averaged at 6.5% which fell short of increased demand; however, the present rate of fish production has increased to about 8 percent.

দুধ একটি আদর্শ খাদ্য। একে আদর্শ খাদ্য বলা হয় কারণ এতে সব ভিটামিন বিদ্যমান। আমরা গাভী থেকে দুধ পাই। আমরা যদি খাঁটি দুধ পেতে চাই তাহলে আমাদের গাভী পালন করতে হবে। গৃহপালিত জন্তুর প্রতি আমাদের সদয় হওয়া উচিত।

= Milk is an ideal food. It is called ideal food because it has all vitamins. We get milk from cows. We if we want pure milk, we need to rear cow. We should become kind to the domestic animals.

The rich are not always happy.
