রমজান ও গরমে বিদ্যুতের চাহিদা বাড়ছে। গ্যাসের তীব্র সংকটে উৎপাদন হচ্ছে কম। সক্ষমতা থাকলেও চাহিদামাফিক বিদ্যুৎ সরবরাহ করতে পারছে না বিদ্যুৎ উন্নয়ন বোর্ড। পরিস্থিতি মোকাবেলায় শিল্পে গ্যাস রেশনিংয়ের সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে সরকার। উদ্যোগ নেয়া হয়েছে সব ধরনের শিল্পে দিনে ৪ ঘণ্টা করে গ্যাস ব্যবহার বন্ধ থাকবে।
