A and B started a business with initial investments in the respective ratio of 18: 7. After four months from the start of the business, A invested Tk. 2,000 more and B invested Tk. 7,000 more. At the end of one year, if the profit was distributed among them in the ratio of 2:1 respectively. What was the total initial investment with which A and B started the business? B's share of the profit 1,200 Tk.

ক, খ ও গ এর মূলধনের অনুপাত = ৩২০ : ৪০০ : ৪৮০ = ৩২ : ৪০ : ৪৮ = ৪ : ৫ : ৬

অনুপাতের যোগফল = ৪ + ৫ + ৬ = ১৫

গ পাবে $= \left( ৩০০ এর \frac{৬}{১৫}\right)$ = ১২০ টাকা

ক পাবে $= \left( ৩০০ এর \frac{৪}{১৫}\right)$ = ৮০ টাকা

∴ গ অপেক্ষা ক কম পাবে = ১২০ - ৮০ = ৪০ টাকা

Shakil ২০০৯ সালে 25,000 টাকা বিনিয়োগ করে একটি ব্যবসায় শুরু করলো। ২০১০ সালে সে আরো 10,000 টাকা বিনিয়োগ করলো এবং Raihan তার সাথে 35,000 টাকা বিনিয়োগ করে ব্যবসা শুরু করলো। ২০১১ সালে Shakil আরো 1,000 টাকা বিনিয়োগ করলো এবং Jafor 35,000 টাকা বিনিয়োগ করে Shakil'র সাথে ব্যবসায় যোগ দিল। ৩ বছরের ঐ ব্যবসায় 1,50,000 টাকা মুনাফা হলে Raihan কত টাকা মুনাফা পাবে?

In 3 years, 

Shakil's investment = Tk.$(25,000 \times 3 + 10,000 \times 2+10,000 \times 1) = Tk. 1,05,000$

Raihan's investment = Tk.$(35000 \times 2) = Tk. 70,000$

Jafor's investment = Tk. $(35,000 \times 1) = Tk. 35,000$

Their investment ratio,

Shakil : Raihan : Jafor = $105000 : 70000 : 35000= 3 : 2 :1$

Sum of the ratios= 3 + 2 + 1 = 6

So, Raihan's share = Tk.$1,50,000 \times \frac{2}{6}=Tk. 50,000$ (ans)

Let, C invest = x Tk.

B invest =$\frac{2}{3}$ Tk.

 & A invest = $\frac{2x}{3}\times 3=2x$ Tk

The ratio of investment by A, B and C =  $2x : \frac{2x}{3} : x = 6x : 2x : 3x$

Sum of their investment = 6x + 2x + 3x = 11x

B's share of the profit = $\left(6600 of \frac{2x}{11x}\right)=1,200$ Tk. ans.

Total business time = 8+7= 15 months. 

A's time weighted investment =$[3,000 \times 8+ (3,000+ 2,500) \times 7] = 24,000+ 38,500 = 62,500 Tk.$ 

 B's time weighted investment = $4000\times 15 = 60000 Tk .$

So, investment ratio = $62,500 : 60,000 = 25 : 24$

Now, sum of their invest t = 25 + 24 = 49  [Dividing by 2,500]

So A get profit =$\left(980\times \frac{25}{49}\right)=500$ Tk & B get profit =$\left(980 \times \frac{24}{49} \right)= 480$ Tk

 ans. The share of profit is 500 & 480 Tk.
