A little boy was crying under the tree in one corner as he was could not reach the branches of the tree. That's why the tree was still covered with snow.

When the children ran away, the garden became lifeless with winter again.

When the giant put the little boy up into the tree, the tree at once broke into blossom, and the birds came and sang on it. The little boy flung his arms around the giant's neck and kissed him.

When the giant drove the children away from the garden, the spring too left that place. But when the children crept into the garden, there was spring again. The giant then realized his fault. So, I think the giant did the right thing by knocking the wall down.

The little boy did not run away with others, because his eyes were full of tears and so he could not see the giant coming.

When the little boy was put up in the tree by the Giant, he was pleased and gave the Giant a hug and a kiss.

The people passing by the garden saw that the Giant was playing with the children in the loveliest garden of the country.

The Giant considered himself selfish.

With the statement, the Giant meant that the children could come and play in the garden as they wanted. They no longer had to be afraid of its owner, the Giant.
