He tried very hard but he could not save the boy. (Simple) = In spite of trying very hard, he could not save the boy.

Earthquake is a natural disaster. (Interrogative) = Isn't earthquake a natural disaster?

Earthquake is a destructive natural phenomenon. (Compound) = Earthquake is a natural phenomenon and it is destructive.

The history of Dhaka is very rich. (Exclamatory) = How rich the history of Dhaka is!

Dhaka stands on the famous Buriganga river. (Complex) = Dhaka stands on the Buriganga which is a famous river.

Everybody avoids a corrupt man. (Negative) = There is nobody but avoids a corrupt man. or, There is nobody who doesn't avoid a corrupt man.
