দৈনন্দিন জীবনে কেনাবেচা, লাভ-ক্ষতি এবং ছাড় (Discount) নির্ণয়ে এই বিষয়গুলো ব্যবহৃত হয়। এটি শতকরা ও বাণিজ্যিক গণিতের একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ।

১. ক্রয়মূল্য ও বিক্রয়মূল্য (Cost Price & Selling Price)

• ক্রয়মূল্য (CP) = যে দামে পণ্য কেনা হয়

২. লাভ (Profit)

যখন বিক্রয়মূল্য ক্রয়মূল্যের চেয়ে বেশি হয়, তখন লাভ হয়।

লাভের শতকরা:
