এলিগেশন (Rule of Alligation)

ভিন্ন ভিন্ন দামের বা মানের দুই বা ততোধিক বস্তুকে মিশ্রিত করলে মিশ্রণের গড় দাম বা গড় মান নির্ণয় এবং নির্দিষ্ট গড় দামে মিশ্রণের অনুপাত বের করার পদ্ধতিকে এলিগেশন বলা হয়।

এলিগেশনের মূল ধারণা

কম দামের বস্তু ও বেশি দামের বস্তুকে এমনভাবে মেশানো হয় যাতে নির্দিষ্ট গড় দাম পাওয়া যায়।

এলিগেশনের সূত্র

Ratio=(Higher Price−Mean Price):(Mean Price−Lower Price)

চিত্র আকারে

উচ্চ দাম → গড় দাম → নিম্ন দাম

পার্থক্যের অনুপাতই মিশ্রণের অনুপাত।

উদাহরণ

৩০ টাকা কেজি ও ৫০ টাকা কেজি দামের চাল মিশিয়ে ৪০ টাকা কেজি দামের মিশ্রণ তৈরি করতে হবে। কী অনুপাতে মেশাতে হবে?

উচ্চ দাম = 50

গড় দাম = 40

নিম্ন দাম = 30

অনুপাত =

( 50 - 40 ) : ( 40 - 30 )

= 10 : 10

= 1 : 1

অতএব, চাল দুটি ১ : ১ অনুপাতে মেশাতে হবে।

  • এটি মিশ্রণ সম্পর্কিত সমস্যায় ব্যবহৃত হয়।
  • দাম, মান বা ঘনত্ব নির্ণয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
  • এখানে গড় মান সর্বদা দুই মানের মাঝামাঝি হয়।
  • অনুপাত নির্ণয়ে পার্থক্য ব্যবহার করা হয়।

মনে রাখার উপায়

“বড় দাম − গড় দাম : গড় দাম − ছোট দাম”

এটাই এলিগেশনের মূল সূত্র।
