এই প্রশ্নটাকে ২ভাবে বুঝা যায়। মনে রাখতে হবে complex sentence এর subordinate clause কখনোই interrogative হতে পারেনা। আবার কোনো বাক্য বা প্রশ্নের ভেতরে অন্য একটি প্রশ্ন অন্তর্ভুক্ত থাকলে তাকে Embedded Question বলে এবং এই Embedded Question এর Structure সাধারন Question এর মত Auxiliary Verb + Sub + Main Verb + extension না হয়ে সাধারন structure এ হয়।

Clause বাক্যের একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ। Complex এবং compound sentence-এ একের অধিক clause থাকে।
Definition of Clause: কোনো বাক্যাংশের মধ্যে যদি একটি subject ও একটি finite verb থাকে এবং উহা যখন একটি পূর্ণ বাক্যের অংশ হিসেবে কাজ করে তখন তাকে Clause বলে ।
Kinds of Clauses Clause-কে সাধারণত তিনভাগে ভাগ করা হয়।
i. Principal Clause বা Independent Clause
ii. Subordinate Clause বা Dependent Clause
iii. Co-ordinate Clause
