কোনো পরিমাণের পরিবর্তনকে শতকরা (%) আকারে প্রকাশ করলে তাকে শতকরা হ্রাস বা বৃদ্ধি বলা হয়।

১. শতকরা বৃদ্ধি (Percentage Increase)

যখন নতুন মান পুরাতন মানের চেয়ে বেশি হয়, তখন তাকে শতকরা বৃদ্ধি বলা হয়।

উদাহরণ:

একটি পণ্যের দাম 200 টাকা থেকে 250 টাকা হলো।
